Aubri 5 months old

Aubri is growing up way to fast. I'm not prepared for her to be this big already. Aubri has cut 2 teeth in the past 2 weeks and has learned to roll over and over and over. She is everywhere, not really yet but it won't be long. Aubri has been really patient with her teeth coming in, she also is getting over having croup and was really patient during it as well. Aubri's lastest trick is she says dada! I can't believe she said dad before mom its crazy! Bryce is loving it! I don't think she realizes she is saying it but loves the attention she gets when she does so she continues to do so.

Aubri's 1st Deer

Bryce went up for the weekend and came home empty handed on Monday. After school and work on Tuesday we went up in hopes of finding something. We drove down some of the property and there he was he is just a little 2 point, but we filled our tag. I don't think Aubri was intrigued as we tell the story she kinda gets a disgusted look on her face.

16 weeks old

Aubri has learned a couple new tricks this week but the cutest one is blowing raspberries!! I love it we will go back and forth for couple mins and then she begins laughing which is also a new trick! She is becoming such a little person with a big personality I love it. She got a bouncy horse that she has been able to bounce in and she gets so excited when she can make it sing a song to her! She also can grab things from me, she is figuring things out so fast. I love watching and teaching her new things, but I hate how fast she is growing up!

Girl's Weekend

This weekend was so much fun we had a girls weekend! BK and Kyla and Ashley and Payton and Grandma King was the clan and we had so much fun!! On Friday we went to St George and went shopping and got some good deals, I also picked out a dress for Aubs to wear to aunt McCall's wedding in December. We ate at Iggy's and gave the babies a taste of lemon, Kyla did not like it at all Aubs didn't seem to mind it. We then came home and stopped in at JoAnn's and bought some fabric to make some really cute headbands (pictures to come) we stayed up trying to figure them out until midnight when I packed Aubs up and we came home. Saturday was a busy day we went to our friend Megan's wedding at 2, we enjoyed ourselves and Kyla became a model the photographers could not stop taking pictures of her, even when she was sleeping. We then put the babies to bed and then the fun began again of making the headbands. We finally figured it out at probably 10 pm and made a bunch until 1 am where we all crashed. The fun ended around noon today when BK Ashley and the girls had to go home.

Play Date

Today was Aubri's first play date with the Williams cousins. We joined Amber and her 2 boys, Andrea and 2 of her boys, Taunia and her 2 youngest kids, Holly and her 3 kids, and Teresa and her 2 girls. It was a lot of fun, I even met Matt who I have never met and I have been in the family for almost 3 years! We had a lot of fun chatting with each other and getting to know each other better. When we got home I noticed a nasty sunburn on Aubri's face the poor thing looks like a raccoon because of her headband. I put sunblock on and we sat in the shade but the poor thing still got burned. :( We will have to be even more careful next time!

11 weeks old

Great Grandpa King

Last weekend we went to Melon Days in Green River. It was a lot of fun, we got to see a lot of family from the King side. It was also my 5 year class reunion, even though I did not graduate from GR I went to see all of my old classmates to see what was going on. There was a total of 11 classmates and their spouses, it was fun catching up with them. Saturday was full of food first there was the parade with lots of candy it was longer than any parade here in Cedar, second I ate some teryaki chicken and rice while Bryce ate some dutch oven chicken, potatoes, corn and a roll. Then a couple hours later we went to the State park and enjoyed some hoagies with the Powell clan and visited with one of my uncles who just got back from Korea! Then we went back to the park browsed the boutiques got Aubri some flower clips, then headed out to Grandma King's where we had a BBQ with burgers, nachos, and pasta salad. We ate that then headed over to the reunion where they had more food however we did not eat (I wonder why.) We had a lot of fun and are still stuffed from all the food. Thanks Grandma King :)

Bryce blessed Aubri on Sunday Sept. 5 on her great grandpa Hansen's 76th birthday! A few of the highlights from the blessing were that she is going to be a happy person and she would love everyone and everyone would love her, also she will be a great mother. Bryce's Aunt Sherree made her dress its amazing! Aubri had a great time seeing so much family there on her special day. It was also the Iron County Fair that weekend and we entered her in the cutest baby contest there were so many cute babies I don't know how the judges could pick just one. Aubri did not win there but over at the tractor caravan she was voted the cutest baby! Anyways it was fun and I'm sure we will do it again next year. 7 Weeks old

Time is just flying by, I can't believe that my little Aubri is 7 weeks already. CRAZY!?! Last last weekend me and Aubri went up to my mom's side of the family reunion at the Gooseberry cabins. We spent Sunday-Tuesday up there playing games and having firesides with the family. My Aunt and Uncle Powell did a great fireside on pornography it was a great learning experience for me. Then my grandparents did a couple of spiritual ones as well as a treasure hunt for the younger kids. We played a lot of the Minute to Win It games the only one I won was the Cookie one where you put it on your forehead and can only use your face muscles to get it to your mouth. I felt pretty good considering my brother Klint was playing as well. Aubri did really well and was not shy at all she went to everybody that wanted to hold her.

The next weekend we went to Williams' Family's cabin along with 2 of Bryce's work buddies and their wives and boys. We grilled up some burgers and made dutch oven potatoes and cobbler for the night and they all rode 4-wheelers while I stayed and fed and played with Aubri. The men stayed out until 3:30 am riding bikes while the rest of us went to bed. The next morning Aubri and one of the little boys woke us all up at 7, we ate pancakes sausage and eggs for breakfast then I finally got a turn on the bikes and me and the girls went for a ride. They left around 2 and then we waited around for Bryce's parents to come we had sloppy joes for dinner and watched the meteor shower. Then went to bed and we didn't wake up until around 9 we had french toast sausage and eggs for breakfast, then hung around talking. At 2 Bryce's Aunt Sue and Uncle Paul cousin Miranda and her 2 boys came up to check on the cows. We talked with them while Bryce went and cut some firewood. We left around 6, we love visiting the cabin and spending quality family time together.

Yesterday was probably the hardest day me and Aubri had should would not sleep at all finally around 5:30 I took her to her daddy, and she was fine. That little girl loves her daddy! Just a short time later though she started throwing a fit again so we went for a drive to wal-mart and she fell asleep, finally... Didn't last long as we were leaving those stupid bumps and that stupid huge fan woke her up. We finally put her down at 10:30 and it is now noon today and she has only woke up for 1 feeding! She is such a good baby that yesterday took us by surprise but it looks like she is back to being my little sweetheart.

5 weeks old!!

We went and spent the night at the cabin for Aubri's 5 week bday! It was a lot of fun Eric and Sombryn came and hung out with us they enjoyed 4 wheeler rides while me and Aubri stayed at the cabin. The boys cooked up some burgers and we had a Peach, Raspberry Lemon Cobbler it was really good. Aubri slept for 8 hours it was crazy!! We enjoy going to the mountain and hope to go up a couple more times before the snow stops us.

We took Aubri to the parade she did really well she slept through the whole thing. What do you expect from a 3 week old though? We enjoyed helping our niece Lydia pick up candy! After the parade we went up to the Williams Cabin on Kanara Mtn. this was Aubri and Owens first time!! We usually have a RG Williams family bbq on the 4th but we were a little tied up this year so we went up on the 24th instead. We celebrated with Bryce's whole family and Uncle Paul and Aunt Sue joined us. Peter found lots of water snakes and one of them had freshly eaten a mouse or something you could still see it! We enjoyed the mountain by riding fourwheelers, making burgers and hot dogs, and we even had a heated game of Disney Monopoly in the beginning it was Peter, Lindsay, McCall, and Zach. Half way through Lindsay and I switched taking care of the children and playing, after which McCall went bank rupt and not long after so did Peter. By this time we had to call a time out so I could feed little Aubri and then it was time to leave. But I'm pretty sure I would have won :) Good times good times

2 weeks

It is just a little bit over 2 weeks now, and Aubri has brought so much joy to our lives! Although nights are still rough we love her and would be lost without her. Aubri has started smiling at me when I talk to her, and today she sucked her thumb twice!! I was a little thumb sucker, and would love for her to be one especially to get rid of that stupid binky. Tomorrow will be the first day and night that we spend without daddy. Bryce has to work in Loa tomorrow and is not sure when he will be back either Tues night or Wed morning. So we are going to hang out with Aunt BK and baby Mikyla. Aubri is screaming for me so I will post more later with pictures.

Aubri Marie is here!!!

Aubri Marie joined our family on July 2, 2010! She was born at 7:52 p.m. and was 8 lbs 15 oz, 21 1/2 inches long. I went into labor at 3:30 a.m. we went to the hospital at 5 and I was dialated to a 4 and was 90 % effaced, I then learned that Dr. Gatherum was out of town for the 4th and so Dr. Allen would be delivering Aubri. I was not so sure at first he seemed really young like he had just finished his schooling! But he was great he stood by myside the whole time and was really friendly and made sure I knew what was going on. He broke my water at around 7, I didn't get my epidural until around 10 or 11 I can't remember for sure. I had Bryce my mom, my sister, and my mother-in-law in the room with me, we were laughing and giggling the whole time! The belt that tells when your contractions are coming was not working so I was guessing when they were but by the time it was time to push I had completely numbed my entire lower half and could no longer tell when they were contractions and when to push so I was guessing. I pushed for 2 hours and was bout ready to die, thats when the dr checked and decided that I was going to have to have a c-section, Aubri was at the top of the birth canal and had not budged the entire time I was pushing. Bryce got all dressed up in his protective clothing, and they hauled us off. I had my epidural but had stopped pushing the button at like 5:30 because I couldn't feel the contractions, so when they started cutting my stomach I could feel it they said just pressure right? no I can feel you poking and slicing they said 2 mins and she will be out after 2 mins she was not out so they put me under with anesthia and asked Bryce to leave. Bryce waited in the nursery and was the first to see our little bundle of joy! They allowed the grandmas to come back while they cleaned her up and weighed her and such. meanwhile I was pushed to my room where I didn't wake up til around 9:30, Bryce showed Aubri off through the nursery window to our families! I finally got to see my daughter at 9:30, but had so many drugs in my system and this vaseline stuff on my eyes that I really couldn't see her Bryce put her in my arms while the grandparents took pictures then my mom took her and put her literally 2 inches away from my face so I could see her! What an amazing thing I loved her so much in just that instant it was incredible!! We had to stay at the hospital until Monday afternoon, I did ok, Bryce really missed our bed!

ITS A GIRL!!

Aubri Marie Williams was announced a girl on Tues Feb. 2. We are so excited and can't wait until we can hold her in our arms in June 2010!

Beginners

I decide to start a blog because we are having a BABY!!! We are due June 30, 2010! We are both extremely excited we find out next month what we are having, I am currently 15 weeks pregnant.
