Aubri is ONE!!!

We just celebrated Aubri's 1st birthday! I can't believe how fast this past year has gone, and how grown up my little girl is. We celebrated Aubri's 1st birthday at Discovery Park with lots of friends and family. Mickey Mouse was the theme for the party with games like pin the nose on Minnie, a pinyata, and a fishing pond. Aubri dug right into her birthday cake and loved it, we also had sloppy joes and salads. Aubri was spoiled with lots of presents her favorites being a Cinderella barbie from her cousin Casey, her pink camp chair from Aunt Call and Uncle Zach. My favorite presents were all the clothes, and for our present to Aubri we redid her bedroom we took it from a neutral nursery to a girl toddler room minus the bed, yes she is still in her crib.

Aubri is learning so much so quickly. She has recently begun pointing at everything with her chubby little pointer finger, she moos at cows, woofs at cats and dogs, and her new favorite thing is the 4-wheeler, or as Aubri calls it the vroom vroom :)

Aubri's 1st birthday is July 2nd and lucky for us it landed on a Saturday so we had a fun filled 4 day weekend with Bryce. We spent all Saturday spoiling Aubri, then when Sunday came it was Bryce's turn. We went up the mountain property and spent the next couple days in the trailer coming down for the 4th of July parade of course. This was a big hit for Aubri, she doesn't walk yet but we helped her out to the candy, and thanks to her grandmas she was able to get 4 frisbees a tshirt and a token for a free ice cream cone! We really missed our Clark cousins, and their daddy at the parade though. After the parade we went up to the cabin and had a BBQ with the family. We took lots of 4wheeler rides and roasted marshmallows for smores.

SLACKER

Wow I have been so busy with everything I have not been on here for awhile. Aubri is now 10 months old, she is crawling, pulling herself up to the couch, walking along the couch, attempting to walk with her walker, she says uh-oh, mama, and grandma now as well as dada and baba! Aubri is a very busy little girl she loves to get into anything and everything. She hates having the doors close in front of her and will scream at you to open them. Aubri just got 3 more teeth so that makes a grand total of 5 teeth, and we have had long nights because of them. Aubri is usually a good sleeper of 10-13 hours a night with a couple naps a day. Aubri is still mesmerized by the tv and loves to watch Disney JR mainly Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and has begun to love Princess movies such as Princess and the Frog, as well as my favorite Tangled!!
Aubri loves the outdoors but hates the grass, we put a blanket down and it acts as a crib she will not go off it. She loves to go for walks and see all the animals especially these crows that live on the roof of the house just down the road, she loves to just point and watch them, she even tries to imitate the sound they make its pretty cute.
As far as me and Bryce go: Bryce is still going to school and working for the Leavitt Land and Investments, one of his best work buddies recently quit to go up north for more schooling and Bryce is struggling with it, but with Memorial day not to far away he will soon be able to escape to his favorite place in the world, his family cabin. Bryce loves to disappear up there and cut fire wood, fix up the old cabin, and just relax. We were not able to go up as many times as he would have liked last year because of Aubri, but this year we plan to go up at least once a week. As for me I am loving cake decorating, and have just branched out a little bit into becoming a florist! I don't care for it as much as the cakes but it is still fun and a change of pace. I also am planning on enrolling in nail school this summer if all the scheduling works out. Also this week me and my dad started the HCG diet and are on day 3 he has lost 9 lbs, and I have lost 7 lbs. We are so excited this is working so well, we both hope to be at least 30 lbs lighter by the end of the month :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Wow time is flying by. Aubri is almost 8 months old I cannot believe it. Aubri's newest tricks are sitting up all by herself, scooting backwards, eating finger foods, holding her old bottle. We moved over Valentine's weekend to Sunset Ridge (still in Cedar), however it is a duplex which means 2 car garage, backyard, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a laundry room :) We are super excited and just love it. We can't wait for summer and all the BBQs and pool time with Aubri that we will get.
Bryce is still in school and is making progress we are hoping to have him graduate in Spring of 2013! I am loving being a stay at home mommy, with the exception of working as a cake decorator 8 hours a week at Lin's. Aubri and I can't wait for the snow to melt so we can go for walks and play outside of the grass, but for now we stay indoors and play! pictures of the new place to come!

Aubri is 6 months old

Aubri is now 6 months old, she is finally gaining weight, and is the happiest baby I know. She has learned how to roll over, and is now all over the place, however, she only rolls in one direction so if she runs into a wall or something blocks her path she will let you know. She also says dada, all through Christmas break Bryce has been a great dad and gone in and got her out of her crib and changed her bumb before bringing her to me. I think she got used to it the other day he had gone to work before she woke up, when she did she sat in her crib saying dada over and over again I went to get her and she just growled at me. I had to laugh at her growling but it made me really sad because she loves her daddy more than me :( Aubri has this bouncy horse and loves it she goes nuts jumping up and down and side to side, its awesome she is so cute.

Also over this Christmas break Aubri got a new cousin Navy Jade King was born to my brother Kody and his wife Ashley. Navy Jade was welcomed to this world by her big sister Payton. Aubri and me get to meet Navy this weekend I am so excited :)

Great Grandma Hansen's 75th birthday

New Years day was Bryce's grandma's 75th b-day! We combined it with Christmas and had a huge party for her. I decorated her cake for her, although it was more of decorations for a cake for myself, she said she loved it. Aubri was ready to dig right it.

Aunt McCall's Wedding

Bryce's little sister got married on Dec 30th. Aubri was an honorary flower girl, she was not a very happy camper because she just received her 6 months shots :( We spent all day at the church, and her dress was not so comfty plus it was hard for her to sleep without her crib. All in all it was a good day and we are happy for McCall and her new husband Zach! Pictures to come

Aubri's 1st Christmas

Aubri's first Christmas was so much fun!! However I did go overboard, I just couldn't help myself I fell in love with everything I saw. She was so much fun to shop for! We spent Christmas here in Cedar City with Bryce's family. His older sister came from Indiana with her family we had Christmas eve dinner together and a special visitor came to see us. Santa stopped by and gave us all our Christmas presents. My niece Lydia was so excited she loved Santa and could not get enough of him. My nephew and Aubri were not quite sure about him. We opened our christmas jammies and took lots of pictures. We stayed at our house and opened Christmas presents before heading out to Bryce's grandma's for some appleskievers which is one of their traditions. We then went to Bryce's mom's house and opened some more presents! Christmas was so much fun, I missed my family greatly but was glad to have my in-laws in town.
